The Zoe Report Box of Style is my favorite subscription box! Celebrity Fashion Designer and Stylist Rachel Zoe curates the Box. The Box includes beauty products, accessories, wardrobe solutions, jewelry, home accessories and cosmetics valued at over $400. Rachel Zoe provides standout accessories and solutions that are relevant to the season.
I learned about my favorite perfume (Viva La Juicy), eyebrow pencil from IT cosmetics, and Helena Quinn kimono through the Box of Style. My recent handbag additions and summer hat also came from the Box. I’ve sampled numerous skincare products and discovered the benefits of Skinesque 3-Step Brightenting + Charcoal Mask.
Reasons To Love The Box of Style
1. Meets Seasonal Needs
The Box of Style is always right on time with products needed for the season. The Fall 2017 Box provided lint removing strips for sweaters, layers and other fall fashion. The Summer 2017 Box included high end sunscreen with good quality ingredients and sunglasses. A cable knit beanie, perfect for staying warm, was included in the Winter 2016 box.
2. Fabulous Handbags
In the past year, I scored really great handbags. A convertible clutch from the Fall 2017 Box came in a hard to find navy color. It can be used as a clutch, shoulder bag or tablet/laptop holder. The custom carryall bag in the Spring 2017 bag provided a fun and practical bag for work and play.
3. Chic Fashion
The Boxes include classic and stylish fashion finds. The Fall 2016 Box encompassed a black and white cape (pictured above) that is timeless and versatile. Recipients of the Summer 2017 Box received a beautiful, floral Helena Quinn kimono. A pastel cover-up was provided in the Summer 2016 Box. All three styles are classic staples that will never go out of style.
As a plus size woman who typically wears a 2x, I was concerned that I would be unable to wear the fashions. Whereas the cape fits all wearers, the kimono and cover-up fit most. Even though I was unable to wrap the kimono tightly around me, I was able to comfortably wear it open as a robe. Plus sizes up to size 18 reported being able to wear the cover-up.
The styles also appeared to fit petite and straight sized women including size 0-2. There were many images of smaller women wearing the kimono and cover-up.
4. Full Size Skincare and Cosmetics
This subscription box provides full-sized, high end beauty products. I gained exposure to products that I otherwise wouldn’t have tried. The Boxes incorporated Tatcha, Sunday Riley, Oribe, Clinique and Butter London. Many of these products easily exceed the value of the Box.
5. Amazing Accessories
I’ve gained amazing accessories from these boxes. The Symbology scarf (pictured above) oozes of chicness. A wrap belt with tassels serves as a stunning belt (and double wrap belt for slimmer women). Raen sunglasses functioned as a daily necessity during the summer.
6. Personal Style
The Box of Style is a great tool for experimenting with and developing your personal style. It exposes people to styles and products that they might not otherwise wear or use. It also injects trend in subtle and classic ways.
2017 Winter Box of Style Review
The Winter Box arrived at my house on December 23rd and amounted to an amazing Christmas gift to myself! A pearl colored clutch and faux fur stole are the perfect touch for New Year’s Eve or other winter celebrations. The black liquid liner serves as a great complement to new eye shadows. Hydrating oil helps fight winter dryness.
House of Harlow 1960 Mesa Door Knocker Earrings (Retail Value: $115)
I wore these earrings on Christmas and loved them! The gold tone and understated sparkle brightened my outfit. Light in weight, the earrings were surprisingly easy to wear. I don’t know if I would pay $115 for the earrings, and I saw a number of the earrings for sale on ebay for less than $30.
I have one complaint. The earring posts were bent. Despite this flaw, I still love the earrings.
Rachel Zoe for Box of Style Box Clutch (Retail Value: $115)
I love, love, love the clutch. The pearl colored bag is beautiful and appropriate for casual and formal events. The clutch comes with a removeable shoulder strap, and is quite spacious. Again, I am not certain that I would pay $115, but for the price of the Box of Style, it is a great deal!
Unreal Fur Faux Fur Stole (Retail Value: $85)
Perfection describes this faux fur stole. It is perfect with a suit for work, a gown for a formal affair, or a long sleeved tee on the weekend. It feels great and looks good!
tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Liner (Retail Value: $20)
As a fan of tarte pencil eyeliners, I was excited to use this product. It met my expectations. The liner created the perfect line, and did not smudge.
Osea Essential Hydrating Oil (Retail Value: $68)
Osea describes this oil as radiance enhancing. I haven’t used it yet for a long period of time, but am hopeful that it will bring great results. I have exceptionally dry, sensitive skin and I hope this oil can help.
Sugar Paper The Agenda (Retail Value: $48)
Every new year I think about how to be better organized. This twelve month agenda is right on point! With gold foil details, a sturdy cover, and well though out sections, this agenda is a winner!
